The project of Vocational Education in rural areas (A-STAR) ( till 2008 called – the Project of Agricultural and Rural Vocational Education) puts all its efforts to provide the stability by creating social foundations such as “KOJO - Local Agencies of Vocational Training”, which through the joint mechanism cover all operational costs during the 16 month course “Farmer – entrepreneur” . Additionally the students during their learning practice acquire the skills which are necessary in farming and receive micro credits to implement their business projects.

I. semester: Theory + Practice

There are 15 weeks in the 1st semester, one of which is winter holidays.
If you wish to benefit from your profession in the future, you should gain the skills and knowledge during the whole semester. The curriculum of the course gives the possibility to learn the profession of farmer in accordance with the modern know-how. Additionally you will learn the basics of agronomy, processing and management. As the result of learning you will be able to become a successful farmer-entrepreneur in the present rural conditions. 

II. Semester: Farmer’s practice and Project work

There are 36 weeks in the 2nd semester, one of which is holidays. 
According to the curriculum the students will have the practical training in farming and will learn to draft the business plans. For the period of 8 month you will have the practical training, so that you could improve your theoretical knowledge. The practical training will take place at the local farms. Experienced and successful farmers called «masters» will guide you through the training. The long-term practical training is just one of the numerous advantages of the course. 
Would you like to know how to draft and implement a business plan? Would you like to get the micro credits for implementing you future plans? Would you like to receive the credit being a student?
It means our education is all that you need. To be exact, on the basis of our theoretical education which you will receive within the 1st semester you will be able to create a business plan. And in order to implement your business plan we will give you the chance to receive the credit. The credits will be given to you by our partner FC «Companion».  

III. Semester: Modules

There are 15 weeks in the 3rd semester, one of which is holidays.
The curriculum of vocational education was developed by taking into account such kind of factors like rural conditions. I.е. at winter season you will have the theoretical training, and from March to November you will have the practical training. After the practical training you will have the modules. During the modules the highly qualified professionals will teach you the subjects related to the profession. You will discover the modern secrets of agronomy, veterinary, processing and insemination.
